This promotion is valid for up to a $100k deposit per user. Deposits made before September 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST are eligible for a 3% deposit bonus. Deposit bonuses will be paid out as equal payments over 12 months after the end of the 30 day deposit window. Bonuses will be paid out within the first 10 days of each month. If user withdraws eligible deposit before all bonus payments are paid out, they are no longer eligible for the remaining deposit bonus. Users will be able to keep the portion of the deposit bonus that has been paid out up until that point.
Promotional yield is achieved through a combination of a 3% deposit match by Silo and the rate on a 1 year Treasury Note. It is the user's responsibility to purchase Treasury Notes on the platform after they create an account to achieve full yield. Users are eligible to receive deposit match regardless of whether or not they purchase a bond. The Treasury Note yield displayed on the promotion is an estimate of current 1 year Treasury Note yields. Yields are subject to market fluctuations until the Treasury Note is purchased and the yield is "locked in" for the duration of the Treasury Note. Silo will update this periodically to reflect changes in rates. Purchase or Treasury Note is not required to be eligible for deposit bonus. Purchase of Treasury Note is simply a suggestion.
